Biography

Sarah Gomm is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Political Economy/International Environmental Politics group at the Center for Comparative International Studies (CIS) at ETH Zurich. She completed her doctoral degree in 2024 and holds Master's degrees in Politics and Public Administration from Konstanz University and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Additionally, she obtained Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology from Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. Sarah is the project coordinator for the Swiss Environmental Panel and a co-organizer of the Zurich Political Economy Seminar Series. Her research area focuses on environmental politics, with a particular emphasis on individual-level public opinion dynamics. She investigates the barriers and pathways to policy support, looking at aspects such as mental health, populist attitudes, values, worldviews, and trust. Her recent work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Climatic Change, Environmental Research, Journal Cleaner Production, and Journal of European Public Policy.
