Dr. Sarah Riley

Biography

Sarah Riley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Yale University, where she served as Chief Resident in the Crisis Intervention Unit and in the Transitional Age Youth Unit at Yale Psychiatric Hospital. She holds an MD from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and a BS in Biology from Boston College. Her research interests include early psychosis treatment and community psychiatry. She is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Association for Community Psychiatry and the Society for Asylum Medicine. Dr. Riley is committed to public service and has participated in the development of the Mindmap Campaign, which focuses on early detection of psychosis. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards for her contributions to medicine and education, including the Resident Teaching Award and the Gilbert M. Beck Memorial Prize. Dr. Riley continues to engage in academic activities and collaborates frequently with her peers, enhancing the field of psychiatry with her innovative research and educational efforts.
