Sarah Rodriguez, MD, MPH, provides comprehensive and compassionate care for children with decreased vision. As a Principal Investigator at the University of Chicago, she contributes to the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG). Her research has been published in numerous esteemed scientific journals including Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (J AAPOS). In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rodriguez is dedicated to addressing health disparities and has participated in medical missions to Ghana and Nicaragua, as well as workshops focusing on ROP in Vietnam and South Africa. She is a committee member of SIBA (Stop Infant Blindness in Africa), a program aimed at preventing the anticipated wave of ROP in Sub-Saharan Africa.
