Biography

Sarah Valentine is an Associate Professor at Boston University within the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in clinical psychology and implementation science. Her research primarily focuses on the adaptation and implementation of evidence-based treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in low-resource settings. Her contributions have helped develop adaptive interventions that prioritize health equity in mental health care. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Suffolk University and has undertaken significant research and clinical training at esteemed institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
