Dr. Sarah Wadmann

Biography

Sarah Wadmann is an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in public health. With a Master’s degree in Public Health obtained in March 2010 and a Bachelor’s in the same field from the same university in June 2007, her academic background lays a strong foundation for her research and teaching activities. Wadmann has a solid history of research involvement, having worked as a PhD student at the Center for Healthy Aging (CEHA) from July 2010 to February 2014 and in various research assistant roles across multiple departments at the University of Copenhagen. Her interests revolve around the organization of healthcare systems and the impact of these systems on the delivery of healthcare services. She is particularly focused on quality audit systems, coordination in healthcare service delivery, and public-private collaboration within the framework of EU regulation. Throughout her career, she has actively engaged in teaching public health courses and has provided co-supervision for undergraduate and graduate students in public health. Her extensive experience includes organizing workshops, providing invited talks, and participating in numerous conference presentations, thus contributing significantly to her field. Furthermore, she has been involved in various academic service roles within the university and community, reflecting her commitment to the development of public health initiatives in Denmark.
