Biography

Sarah Wetzstein teaches Pretrial Civil Litigation, Mediation, and Introduction to Legal Analysis at UCLA School of Law. She previously was an attorney at Hope4Families, a special education law firm where she represented special needs students and low-income families in educational rights cases. Prior to joining UCLA, she had an eight-year career as a litigator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Wetzstein earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1998 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2001, where she served as a senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. In addition to her teaching duties, she currently serves on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization that supports children impacted by domestic violence.
