Biography

Sarah Wilson is an Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, with a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She graduated from the Public Health Agency of Canada's Canadian Field Epidemiology Program and has extensive experience as a public health physician within provincial and federal roles in Canada. Her expertise lies in vaccine safety surveillance, immunization coverage assessment, and the evaluation of immunization programs. Sarah has served in various capacities, including as a Senior Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES), and has been involved in research focusing on how to best use surveillance administrative data to optimize immunization programs and support public health policy. She is a member of the Canadian Immunization Research Network and has been a voting member of Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization since 2020.
