Biography

Saroj Prasad Dash is a Full Professor in Quantum Device Physics at Chalmers University of Technology, where he leads the Spin Quantum Devices group. He holds a PhD in Physics from Max Planck Institute (2007, Stuttgart, Germany) and has completed postdoctoral research at the University of Twente and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He was awarded the Wallmarkska Prize in 2023 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for his groundbreaking contributions in the field. Professor Dash has delivered over 100 invited plenary talks at international conferences and workshops, collaborating with a research group consisting of 5 PhD students and 8 postdoctoral researchers. His work aims to exploit the unique properties of 2D materials to drive innovation in electronic, spin, and quantum technologies, with the goal of advancing memory, logic devices, sensors, and neuromorphic computing.
