Professor Dr. Sarvesh Logsetty

Biography

Dr. Sarvesh Logsetty is a renowned burn trauma surgeon, researcher, and educator dedicated to improving the acute and long-term care of burn trauma patients and their families. He holds high-profile positions at the Max Rady College of Medicine as a professor in surgery, psychiatry, and children's health. His journey to becoming a leading expert began with his graduation from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science and MD in 1990, followed by a diploma in clinical epidemiology from the University of Toronto in 1996. He has completed fellowships in acute burn care and reconstructive surgery at the Ross Tilley Burn Centre in Toronto and critical care at Harborview Medical Centre in Seattle. Dr. Logsetty's research is highly respected and has resulted in numerous publications and patents, earning him both national and international awards. His research interests include burns, traumatic injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, sepsis, critical care, and reconstructive surgery.
