Dr. Saskia Mioduszewski

Biography

Professor Mioduszewski specializes in experimental nuclear physics with a focus on relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Her research interests include studying the interactions governing nuclear matter and the phase transition between normal hadronic matter and deconfined quark-gluon matter, often referred to as the Quark Gluon Plasma. She is involved in the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), where she investigates the fundamental aspects of nuclear interactions at high energies. Her work has contributed significantly to the understanding of the properties of nuclear matter under extreme conditions, which has implications for both theoretical and experimental physics.
