Dr. Saswati Das

Biography

Saswati Das is a Teaching Associate Professor at the University of Alberta in the Department of Physiology. She has a significant focus on teaching, primarily offering courses such as Introductory Human Physiology and specialized courses for Honours students in Physiology. Dr. Das coordinates and contributes various lectures on topics including Blood Immunity, Renal Physiology, and Reproductive Physiology. Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Alberta and a strong dedication to the pedagogical aspects of Physiology education. She is recognized for her exemplary teaching, evident from awards such as her selection in the Spotlight Series by the UAWISE team in April 2017 and nominations from students for her teaching at MacEwan University.
