Saurabh Lall is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow’s Adam Smith Business School. His research agenda focuses on entrepreneurship in society, following broad tracks such as entrepreneurship in developing emerging economies and social entrepreneurship, including concepts like impact investing and venture philanthropy. His research addresses issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion by focusing on traditionally overlooked entrepreneurs and underdeveloped regions. Previously, he was part of the faculty at the University of Oregon’s School of Planning, Public Policy, and Management and served as the Research Director for the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) at the Aspen Institute. Saurabh co-founded the Global Accelerator Learning Initiative, a unique public-private partnership that aggregated data on over 23,000 ventures participating in 370 accelerator programs worldwide. He has co-authored the book "Observing Acceleration: Uncovering Effects of Accelerators on Impact-Oriented Entrepreneurs" and has published in journals including World Development and Business & Society. Saurabh received his PhD in Public Policy and Administration from George Washington University's Trachtenberg School in 2015 and holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai.
