Biography

Professor Cushing's research focuses on developing new, laser-based instrumentation to address challenges in chemistry, physics, quantum mechanics, and materials science. His group is currently advancing tabletop transient x-ray techniques, pioneering on-chip entangled photon spectroscopy, and conducting ultrafast electron experiments.
