Biography

Scott Flemming is a Senior Instructor and Undergraduate Coordinator in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University. His research interests encompass a variety of fields including Engineering Design, Innovation, Engineering Education, Human Factors Engineering, Innovative Product Design, and Student Engagement. Scott earned his BSc in Mathematics from the University of Prince Edward Island, followed by a BEng from Dalhousie University, an MASc from the University of Toronto, and a PhD from Dalhousie University. He has received several awards for his contributions to education and research, including the NSGS Killam Awards during his PhD studies and the Change Thing Teaching Award at Dalhousie University in 2016. His work is recognized in various publications, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing engineering education and addressing human factors in design.
