Biography

Scott Duke Kominers is a leading researcher in the field of market design, currently serving as the Sarofim-Rock Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. His academic work explores the economic analysis that can provide practical solutions to real-world issues, especially focusing on blockchain-based platforms, cryptocurrency, and Web3 technologies. He teaches MBA and doctoral courses on market design and is involved in various research projects at Harvard, including as Co-Principal Investigator at the Harvard Crypto, Fintech Web3 Lab. Kominers’ extensive research portfolio includes contributions to economic journals and practitioner venues such as Bloomberg Opinion, where he discusses pressing issues in economy and technology.
