Biography

R. Scott Mitchell is an Emeritus Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center. He has an extensive background in cardiovascular surgery, having completed his residency in General Surgery and fellowships in Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery at Stanford University Hospital. Dr. Mitchell received his MD from Northwestern University Medical School in 1970.
