Biography

Scott Vanderlin is a Student Services Librarian and Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School. He provides a wide range of services related to research, teaching, and learning. Before joining the University of Chicago, Scott served as the Associate Director of Research Instructional Services at the Chicago-Kent College of Law Library, where he was instrumental in designing interactive QR codes for library resources and creating instructional videos to illustrate legal research concepts. Prior to his time at Chicago-Kent, he worked as a Reference Associate and taught legal research for a year at the Pritzker Legal Research Center of Northwestern University School of Law. In addition to his academic roles, Scott is an active member of the Chicago Association of Law Libraries (CALL) and currently serves on its Executive Board. He was honored with the 2012 CALL award for Outstanding In-House Publication for his innovative QR Code displays.
