Biography

Sean Burkholder is an Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design and co-founder of the Environmental Modeling Lab. His research focuses on coastal landscapes, with particular attention to lake-based geographies, exploring the intricate interplay between coastal sediments and environmental processes.
