Sean Drummond is a Professor of Clinical Neuroscience at Monash University School of Psychological Sciences, where he has been since December 2014. Dr. Drummond's research primarily focuses on cognitive neuroscience related to sleep, particularly sleep deprivation, treatment of insomnia, and the interaction between sleep and psychiatric disorders, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and mood disorders. He employs methods such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and EEG in his investigations. His clinical expertise includes treating behavioral sleep disorders, chronic insomnia, and related mood disorders. Dr. Drummond has received funding from several prestigious organizations, including the National Health Medical Research Council and the National Institutes of Health.
