Biography

Sean Golden, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. A native of Madison, WI, he completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, graduating with honors in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. He then attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin, where he was awarded the Andrew Alan McBeath Medical Scholarship and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school, Dr. Golden completed a surgical internship, followed by an integrated interventional radiology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for vascular and non-vascular diseases. His professional interests include hemorrhoid artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, genicular artery embolization, and interventional oncology.
