Biography

Sean P. Harbison is a Professor of Clinical Surgery at Penn Medicine, specializing in Gastrointestinal Surgery and General Surgery. He holds a Medical Doctor degree from Temple University School of Medicine. His extensive training includes a residency at Hollywood Medical Center and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Harbison is recognized for his expertise in various surgical techniques and has been acknowledged as one of Philadelphia Magazine's Top Docs from 2015 to 2025. He is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and is committed to the education and training of future surgeons as the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program and Associate Clerkship Director at the Department of Surgery, Perelman School of Medicine.
