Sean completed his medical degree at the University of Bristol in 2001, trained in general medicine specializing in Haematology, and completed his training in 2012. His lab has been involved in pivotal work targeting monoclonal antibody therapy and understanding the effects of immunostimulatory monoclonal antibodies in cancer treatment. He is currently the Chief Investigator of ongoing studies evaluating COVID-19 vaccine immune responses in individuals with B-cell malignancies. His expertise and contributions to the field have been recognized with several awards, including the BACR Roger Griffin Prize for Cancer Drug Discovery.
