Sean Qian is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He directs the Mobility Data Analytics Center at CMU. His research interests include large-scale dynamic network modeling, large-scale data analytics, multi-modal transportation systems, and the development of intelligent transportation systems (ITS), as well as understanding infrastructure system interdependency.
