Biography

Seana Shiffrin is a Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in philosophy and law. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor of Philosophy (B.Phil) and a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) from Oxford University, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School. Shiffrin's research primarily focuses on moral and political philosophy, legal theory, and various aspects of law including distributive justice, freedom of speech, intellectual property, constitutional law, contracts, and bioethics.
