Biography

Sebastian Pattinson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where he leads the Computer-Aided Manufacturing group. He is a co-founder of Matta, a spin-out company focused on developing AI-based software for the manufacturing industry. Before his current role, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
