Sébastien Hélie is a Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University and serves as the Director of the Center for Brain, Behavior, and NeuroRehabilitation (CEREBBRAL). After earning his degrees, Dr. Hélie held a position as a Postdoctoral Scholar in cognitive science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked as an Assistant Researcher in Psychological & Brain Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a senior member of the International Neural Networks Society (INNS) and was awarded the INNS Young Investigator Award in 2012. Dr. Hélie is also a Fellow of the Psychonomic Society, and his research is currently funded by the National Science Foundation.
