Biography

Sedig S. Agili is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Penn State Harrisburg, where he also serves as the Program Chair for Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology. He is the Professor-in-Charge of the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and the Integrated B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering. In addition, he co-directs the Center for Signal Integrity. His memberships include the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), and Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. He specializes in the design of electro-optic systems, focusing on optical modulators, sensors, and RF and microwave systems. His research encompasses lightwave propagation in optical fibers and the development of communications systems using fiber optics. Agili has extensive experience in wireless systems design and the creation of optical sensors. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Marquette University.
