Biography

Sefa Hayibor is an Associate Professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, where he teaches courses in Business Ethics, Business Society, Strategic Management, and Organizational Behaviour. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Environment, Ethics, and Public Policy from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an MBA in Policy Analysis and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University. Prior to joining Sprott, he taught at various universities in Canada and the United States, including Saint Mary's University, Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and Chatham University. His research interests focus on stakeholder theory, ethical decision-making, corporate social performance, cognitive heuristics and biases, moral development, values leadership, and the application of evolutionary psychology to business ethics. His work has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics and Business and Society, and has been presented at international conferences.
