Biography

Šejla Imamović is an Assistant Professor specializing in European Human Rights Law at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University. She is also the author of the monograph 'The Architecture of Fundamental Rights in the European Union,' published by Hart Publishing in 2022. As a member of the Maastricht Centre for European Law and the Montesquieu Institute, she takes an active role in research and teaching. Şejla also coordinates the course on European Human Rights and acts as a guest lecturer for various courses including Constitutional Law and European Fundamental Rights Law, while coaching students for the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition, where her team has achieved success in recent years.
