Biography

Selim Topaloglu is an Associate Professor and RBC Fellow in Finance at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. He holds a PhD in Finance from Arizona State University, an M.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Management from Bilkent University in Turkey. His research interests encompass trading behavior of individuals and institutions, initial public offerings, and analyst behavior. He has previously held a visiting position at Purdue University and has lectured on various finance topics at the doctoral and MBA levels. Selim has also been actively involved in presenting research at international conferences, contributing to the academic community in finance.
