Biography

Sensen Li is an Assistant Professor with the Silicon Laboratories Endowed Chair in Electrical Engineering at the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He directs the UT-Austin Circuits Electromagnetics Lab (UT-ACE), focusing on developing innovative solutions in the field of electrical engineering. Prior to his current position, Dr. Li worked at Samsung Research America where he was involved in advancing next-generation wireless communication systems. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering with highest honors from Zhejiang University, China, in 2013, and his Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, in 2020. His research interests include RF, millimeter-wave, and terahertz integrated antenna, circuit, and system designs, particularly for wireless communication and sensing applications. His contributions to the field have been recognized through various awards including the IEEE Microwave Theory Techniques Society Graduate Fellowship in 2019, the Paper Award from the IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium in 2018, and multiple student paper awards in 2021 and 2019.
