Biography

Senthil Selvaraj, MD, MS, MA, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Duke University, affiliated with the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute and the Division of Cardiology. His translational research investigates the therapeutic relevance of cardiovascular metabolism in patients with heart failure. His early-phase work includes clinical trials utilizing deep phenotyping to elucidate metabolic mechanisms that enhance cardiovascular benefits. Dr. Selvaraj’s research is funded by several prestigious organizations including the National Institutes of Health and the American Heart Association. He has also contributed to the Education Research Committee of the Heart Failure Society of America for the term 2023 to 2025.
