Biography

Seong-Hee Kim is a Professor at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. His research focuses on ranking selection procedures, stochastic simulation, optimization simulation, statistical output analysis, quality control, applications of simulation methods, and environmental management. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field, receiving the INFORMS Simulation Society Outstanding Simulation Publication Award in 2006 and the NSF Career Award in 2007. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering Management Science from Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
