Biography

Dr. Seongjin Park joined the Department of Sport Management at Brock University in July 2025. He earned his doctoral degree from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree from Seoul National University. His primary research areas include sport consumer psychology, consumer biases and prejudice, utilizing various methodological approaches and experimental designs. Dr. Park's work has been published in journals, examining cognitive, affective, and behavioral approaches to sport fan psychology. He is currently supervising graduate students interested in pursuing thesis-based MA degrees with an emphasis on sport consumer psychology. Dr. Park actively encourages prospective undergraduate students to reach out to express their interests.
