Dr. Sepideh Mehri

Biography

Sepideh Mehri is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at NYU Langone Health, where she serves as the Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Simulation and an Obstetrics Safety Officer. With a medical degree from the University of Debrecen and advanced training from Yale University, her clinical practice focuses on comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, particularly in emergency surgical interventions and improving responses to obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage and hypertensive crises. She leads educational programs aimed at preparing residents and faculty for obstetric emergencies, emphasizing simulation training to enhance clinical performance. Her research is centered on practices aimed at reducing maternal mortality and severe morbidity, with a dedicated focus on improving patient outcomes through simulation training.
