Dr. Sergei Tsvetkov

Biography

Sergei Tsvetkov is a Lecturer in Art and Printmaking at the College of Fine Arts. He has exhibited his mixed media works and prints across the United States and Europe since 1986, with notable solo and group exhibitions at prestigious venues including the Corcoran Art Museum in Washington, D.C., the Mimi Fertz Gallery in New York, and the Portland Art Museum in Oregon. His work has been showcased in significant international events such as the Krakow Biennial in Poland and the Ljubljana Triennial in Slovenia. Tsvetkov has been the recipient of multiple grants, including those from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Pennsylvania State Council on the Arts, as well as a Fulbright Scholarship in 2004 to Jordan. Additionally, he received the Gold Prize at the Edmonton Print International in Alberta, Canada in 2008. He has participated in various artistic residencies across the USA, Belgium, Italy, Russia, and Sweden. His works are held in major art collections, including the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Collection and the Nancy Norton Dodge Collection at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University. He currently resides and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
