Dr. Sergey Krylov

Biography

Sergey Krylov is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry at York University, where he holds a Tier 1 York Research Chair. His research laboratory encompasses an interdisciplinary group of scientists with interests across the physical and life sciences. The primary focus of the lab is to develop innovative enabling technologies for biomedical and bioanalytical applications through the study of basic natural phenomena and the validation of new methods. This involves complex experimental work utilizing both in vitro and in vivo approaches, including tissue culture and animal models. The lab’s collaborations with multiple research hospitals enhance access to human clinical samples, and it operates with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
