Biography

Sergio España Cubillo is an assistant professor at Utrecht University, where he teaches Bachelor's and Master's courses in Information Science and Business Informatics. He is a member of the Software Production research group and leads the Software Organisational Responsibility research line. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in 2011. His research interests include the software needed for organizations to improve business ethics and sustainability. He has competencies in information systems analysis, model-driven development, and human-computer interaction, among others. España has published extensively in the fields of requirements engineering and conceptual modelling, and has served on program committees for several prominent conferences. He is also involved in several networks focused on alternative solidarity economies and has co-authored a method for requirements engineering applied to model-driven development frameworks.
