Biography

Servaas Storm holds a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has been a member of the editorial board for the journal Development and Change since 2006. He is also part of the Working Group on 'The Political Economy of Distribution' at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) in New York since 2014 and serves on the editorial board for the European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies since 2014. His research encompasses topics such as secular stagnation, productivity growth in OECD countries, technology-induced structural change, employment dualization, and the economics of climate change and energy transition. Notably, he co-authored a book titled "Macroeconomics NAIRU" with C.W.M. Naastepad, published in 2012 by Harvard University Press, which won the 2013 Myrdal Prize from the European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy. He teaches economics courses within specialisation tracks in Economics and Finance.
