Biography

Seth Clark, MD, MPH, FASAM, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry Human Behavior at Brown University. He serves as a medical attending on the inpatient Addiction Medicine Consult service at Rhode Island Hospital and as an outpatient provider at the Brown University Health Recovery Center, as well as the Rhode Island’s Adult Correctional Institutions. Dr. Clark is board certified in Addiction Medicine and completed the David C. Lewis Fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Brown University in 2019, where he also served as Program Director for the fellowship until 2024. He is also board certified in Internal Medicine, completing his residency in General Internal Medicine at Brown, where he served as chief resident in 2018. He received his combined MD/MPH from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2014. His research interests focus on inpatient Addiction Medicine consultations, low-barrier access to medications for addiction treatment, management of acute opioid withdrawal, and harm reduction interventions and education.
