Dr. Seth Hill

Biography

Seth J. Hill is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on political participation, vote choice, American elections, representation, and citizen engagement in politics. He teaches courses in American politics, voting behavior, and political methodology. Hill has published his work in prestigious journals including the American Journal of Political Science, the American Political Science Review, the Journal of Politics, and World Politics. He has received funding from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation for his research. He previously held a postdoctoral appointment at Yale University from 2010 to 2012. Hill earned his PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010.
