Biography

Seth Rogin is the CEO of Magnolia Media Partners, LLC, where he confidentially advises a new generation of media technology companies. He was the founding President and CEO of Nucleus, a joint venture of Hearst, Gannett, McClatchy, and Tribune, that focused on creating technology and marketing revenue leadership in the American news industry. Seth has earned a reputation as the industry's 'Dean of Digital Advertising.' From 2013 to 2016, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Mashable, where he scaled the company's growth significantly, secured multiple rounds of venture investment, and helped reach a peak valuation while expanding globally. Before his role at Mashable, Seth spent 13 years in New York, where he held various roles, including Vice President of Advertising at New York Magazine and NY Style Magazine, contributing to the successful launch of their websites. An award-winning leader, Seth was named 'Industry Luminary of the Year' by iMedia and inducted into MIN's Media Sales Hall of Fame. He has been recognized as a leading advocate for equality in media marketing. Seth is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jerry Garcia Foundation and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council Advisory Council for Ad Week NY and Europe. He is currently involved with the Digital Marketing Standards Board and has co-authored policies aimed at increasing diversity and inclusion within the industry. Business Insider has named Seth as one of the 30 people in advertising to follow on Twitter. He is also an investor in the Broadway production 'The Inheritance,' which won four Tony Awards in 2020 for Play of the Year.
