Dr. Seth Woolf

Biography

Seth Woolf, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician specializing in the care of children and adolescents experiencing urgent medical conditions. He manages a wide variety of emergencies, injuries, infections, and acute illnesses that require immediate evaluation and intervention. As an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Woolf's research primarily focuses on improving care for pediatric patients in emergency settings. He has studied the prevalence and characteristics of oral injuries in young children and has been involved in community hospital projects aimed at enhancing pediatric care in emergency departments. His work includes improving the detection of abnormal vital signs in children, running pediatric clinical simulations, and ensuring access to critical care equipment for pediatric patients. Dr. Woolf received his medical training from St. George's University Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine.
