Shaghayegh (Rose) Gomar received her Ph.D. in Electrical Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor, Ontario. She has served as the chair of the IEEE Women Engineering Windsor section and has experience working as a digital designer in the research and development department of a telecommunications company. Before joining Carleton University, she was a faculty member in the Electrical Computer Engineering Department at Concordia University from 2020 to 2022.
