Shaghayegh Shajari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. With a profound focus on continuous personalized health monitoring, her research integrates materials science, engineering, and medicine to advance sustainable health innovation through smart wearable and implantable technologies. Dr. Shajari holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards, including NSERC and Brain CREATE Postdoctoral Fellowships. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed articles and patents in the fields of biomaterials, nanotechnology, and bioelectronics, with a commitment to developing eco-friendly, patient-centered medical solutions. Shajari leads the Shajari Lab for Bio-Interfaced Soft Material Technologies, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into healthcare solutions.
