Professor Dr. Shahed Al Khalifah

Biography

Shahed Al Khalifah is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Dentistry, where he has been since 2016. He specializes in restorative dentistry and has been instrumental in directing the Restorative Advanced Clinical Training Program. He holds a B.D.S. from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia and a Master of Science in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Al Khalifah has contributed to various scholarly activities, including authoring the 'Clinical Materials' Student Clinical Guide Booklet and serving on the Admission Committee for the Restorative Advanced Clinical Training Program. He teaches multiple courses, focusing on dental morphology, direct and indirect restoration, and clinical restorative dentistry. His research interests include dental materials, dental restorative treatments, evidence-based dentistry, and dental technology education. Dr. Al Khalifah is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Saudi Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
