Biography

Shamrozé (Zay) Khan received Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo in 2007. After completing a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease at Illinois College of Optometry, he graduated in 2008. Upon his return to Canada, he served intensively in private practice while maintaining a clinical supervisory role at the School of Optometry & Vision Science. Currently, he is an Associate Clinical Professor and Undergraduate Studies Officer. His research interests include Low Vision, Vision Rehabilitation, Primary Care, Pediatric Low Vision, and Ocular Disease. He also engages in teaching courses such as Clinical Techniques and Low Vision Geriatrics, demonstrating his commitment to education and practice in the field of optometry.
