Biography

Shane Nicholls joined the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick in 2020 as an Assistant Professor in Accounting. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, along with a Master of Science in Management (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. Nicholls is also interested in behavioural accounting, exploring the relationship between physical and mental health and the quality of financial reporting, as well as blockchain and cryptocurrency. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences and has publications in well-regarded journals, including Accounting Education and International Journal Advances in Accounting Education: Teaching and Curriculum Innovations.
