Biography

Shanna Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University. Prior to joining McGill, she was a visiting postdoctoral fellow at the University of Southern California's Gould School of Law. She is a registered psychologist in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Dr. Williams has clinical experience working with maltreated populations and conducting forensic interviews for law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles. Her research is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
