Biography

Shari Raheb graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. Following an internship at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), she completed a clinical residency in Cardiology and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in Cardiology in 2019. In 2020, she joined OVC as an Assistant Professor, teaching veterinary Cardiology to DVM students. Her research interests include canine and feline cardiomyopathies as well as the use of cardiac biomarkers and advanced echocardiographic techniques in veterinary medicine.
